May 31, 2010, 20.52, Vienna Stephansdome

It was on the first evening in Vienna. We took the U3 to Stephansdome. Walked up the stairs. And arrived right there, in front of this massive dome, in twilight. All around us, buildings from different times, like layers of centuries.
And the facade of Stephansdome - hidden underneath a construction panel, which was printed with the facade. Yet another layer. What's beyond all those buildings and layers, we wondered. Where's the core of this city - and which shape does it have?
