driving down a highway. driving across a huge bridge. driving, and running into the longing to take a break, for sunset. for a minute. or ten. for the water that keeps flowing, on and on, until it reaches the northern sea.

(note: i took this photo after visiting the frankfurt book fair. from the fair, i went to visit relatives. it was sunset time. so i took a small detour - Rhein river was just a mile away. i drove there, and arrived just in time for this moment.)
