and it's so great to be here. already the flight was a treat: a slow sunrise over circling clouds and a beautiful view of the island before the landing ... and then in the holiday complex a cute little bungalow waiting for us, one that comes with a shady terrace and a sunny lawn and a pond in front of it that comes with ducks and frogs yeah of course there is also the usual big pool somewhere, but the pond is just lovely, with a little water fountain and golden fish swimming in it. very calming. will take some pictures and send them later but i already have some sky pictures for you: the sunrise
and here is Mallorca from above, it really is a huge island, with squares of fields and ranges of mountains.. and the weather looks fine and it's warm and so relaxing to be here, far away from daily life back home and now it's Monday afternoon and Ronnie and me are back from our first real long bike ride... 100 kilometres... first time for me this year to go so far, and it was like it should be, long and inspiring and tiring and refreshing. the rest of the day now will be lazing and reading and more lazing and delicious dinner and a walk along the ocean and more lazing and more reading. i am back to Kerouac again.
